Lowering the price is easy if the quality & durability of the furniture is not important to you. Why? When you choose a design, you are choosing the size/seating-capacity etc, and surface visual look of the piece of furniture. That impacts the price, but there are many other factors which go into the price. The same piece of furniture can be made very cheaply with cheap wood (which means it wouldn't look as premium, and also have issues like cracks etc after a year or so). This price range varies even more when it comes to products with diverse raw materials (like sofas made with cheap foam). We strive to partner with makers that use raw materials based on the price you pay, not undercutting quality. 

Many makers don't have the best photos, or even enough photos. And at times many other important details are missing, which are needed to choose a product (fabric type? color options? etc). This is why we liaise with the makers and confirm all the details with you before your place an order. You can also share examples of specific details you'd like in your order. We also strive to send work-in-progress milestone photos to ensure your order is being made in line with your expectations & there are no surprises upon delivery. The makers are motivated to build as per your preferences, so this process ensures any visual or informational gaps are addressed during the making process.

If you are interested in customizing an SKU, or changing some aspect of an SKU (for eg. color or fabric style), please share those details with us when you reach out. We would check with the maker and let you know the feasibility and additional costs if any.  

Shipping is arranged by the makers directly to your doorstep. The shipping cost is borne by the buyer (unless shipping is free for your SKU). For international buyers- please get in touch regarding the shipping process & timelines, as that is handled on country by country basis.

The best furniture makers are often based in remote parts of Indonesia, and sending money to someone far away and hoping for the item you ordered to show up as expected is risky indeed. This is why we only work with trusted makers who are accountable to us in case of any issues. We also update you during the making process, in order to minimize the chances of any surprises upon delivery. In the rare case that still happens, we will work with you to resolve it.
